Villa Lucia is situated on the south side of the island, in Rukavac, 200 meters from the sea. It is positioned in a quiet location away from the noise, with guaranteed privacy. Its location provides you with the sun and shade throughout the day. You can enjoy a view of the sea and the nearby island of Ravnik.
A vacation in Rukavac in Villa Lucia is suitable for guests who want to enjoy the quiet nature, far from the noise and crowded beaches and spend time with family and friends. Beside the house there are four parking spaces. On the neighbouring lot stands our family farm, where we keep goats and we produce cheese, oil, wine, grappa and other organic products that are available for purchase. If you have children who love animals or if you are an animal lover, feel free to come and greet them.

The island of Vis is one of the few islands that has kept the original look of the Mediterranean. You could say that the whole island of Vis is a historical monument because in many places you can see preserved historical buildings (Tito’s cave, Roman baths, the remains of the ancient city of Issa, villas, churches, etc.). In addition to its historical importance, it is known for its clear sea and protected underwater world and the amazing flora and fauna of its unspoiled nature. The coastal belt of the island and surrounding islands is decorated with beautiful pebble and sand beaches and many hidden coves and caves, such as the world-famous Blue and Green cave.
If you love to dive and discover the marine life or if you are a fan of sailing, Vis is the inevitable destination for you. Besides an active holiday, you can also enjoy a peaceful and quiet vacation and explore the rich gastronomical and wine offer. The interior of the island is very green, filled with vineyards and olive groves. The largest towns on the island are Komiža and Vis, and near Vis, Rukavac, from which the view extends to the nearby lagoon islands Budihovac and Ravnik, where you can visit the famous green cave. Rukavac bay is surrounded by rocky and sandy beaches, from which the most famous one is Srebrna beach. With the clear azure sea nearby, and the intoxicating scents of the Mediterranean pine and rosemary, Rukavac is a special magical place for a quiet family holiday.
Rukavac is surrounded by beautiful bays and beaches such as Srebrna beach (which is named after the silver shine of its large pebbles during strong moonlight), Tepluš (gravel beach), Bili bok (a nude beach formed by large stone slabs), a few kilometers further lie the sandy beaches Zaglav, Milna and Stončica.
Your hosts live in the neighbourhood near Villa Lucia and have their own organic production of wine, brandy, olive oil, honey, vegetables, goat’s milk and cheese, and local eggs. On their farm they also bread goats. In addition to this organic production, the owner is engaged in fishing.All of our local products are available for purchase for our guests that are staying at Villa Lucia. Our guests also have the possibility of ordering breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a variety of pastries and desserts. We own a small boat with which we can take you on excursions to nearby islands and beaches, upon agreement.
The first master bedroom has a double bed (dimensions 2m x 1.90m). The second master bedroom has a double bed (dimensions 2m x 1.80m). The third bedroom has a single bed (dimensions 2m x 1.40m). The fourth bedroom bed dimensions 2m x 1.20m. One bathroom has a bath, a shower, a washing machine, sink, bidet, toilet, hair dryer, towels (small and large) and a changing table for babies. The smaller bathroom has a shower, bidet, toilet, sink and towels (small and large).
The ferry boat from Split takes you to the island of Vis 3 times a day in high-season. Upon arriving to the port of Vis, turn left and drive to the next intersection and again turn left in the direction Podstražje -Rukavac -Podšpilje. Drive straight 7 km and you will reach a sign Rukavac-Milna, where you must also turn left.
After 2.5 km you will arrive in Podstražje, and turn sharply to the right in the direction of Rukavac. Drive straight for 1400m and you will come to a sharp turn to the left. After this turn, take the second street to the right and drive straight for 50m then turn left and after 10m turn left again, drive straight 20m and turn left again and you arrive at the parking lot of your facility.
